This chess set combines our outstanding regulation 3.75 inch quality Black Ebonised Victoria Chess Pieces with our new European-made 19 inch Wenge and Birch Wood Chess Board.

These gracefully slender Victoria Chess Series pieces are perfectly proportioned and carefully polished with natural wax. The uniformity of the pieces is sublime; consistency is key and all of the four knights are identical. These chess pieces are beautifully crafted from graded boxwood, double weighted and have excellent balance.

The rich, deep reds and browns of the wenge board complement the black finish of the chessmen perfectly. This chess board has been manufactured in Europe to exacting tolerances from veneers of wenge wood and light birch wood. This outstanding Spanish made board also displays astonishingly tight wood grain.
