This Cheltenham Series chess set combines painstakingly hand turned ebony and boxwood chess pieces with a 20 inch grey briar wood and elm wood chess board.

The chessmen are standard tournament size at 3.75 inches (95 mm) in height and exceptionally detailed. The four knights show this detail off beautifully and have been diligently carved by the best craftsmen. All the pieces have been expertly finished, polished and perfectly balanced.

The board is made in Italy to the highest standards. The quality, glossy lacquer on the mesmerising burr chequerboard majestically reflects the wonderful chess pieces.
