Beautifully handcrafted from ebony wood, the decorative knight pieces are a dominant feature of the aptly named Cavalry Series Chessmen. However, every pieces boasts additional carving details on their collars and bases. The bishops possess deeply carved miters whilst the castles have more rounded turrets. Heavily weighted and perfectly balanced, these luxury chess pieces will fit on a 20 inch (50 cm) board, or a smaller board with squares of at least 2.1 inches (53 mm).
