The Sheffield Knight chess pieces are a most tasteful take on the classic Staunton design and feature a really eye catching knight. This level of detail is normally to be found only on much more expensive sets. Graded boxwood and rosewood has been used to create this beautiful set of chessmen. Each piece has been expertly crafted, polished to a satisfying natural sheen and felted on the base with green billiard cloth. These pieces will sit comfortably on a chess board measuring 19 - 20 inches. Altogether a remarkable set of lovely chessmen with an excellent standard of finish.
