Lord of the Rings Chess Set Wenge

These wonderful Lord of the Rings themed chess pieces are based on specific characters from Peter Jackson's adaptation of 'Fellowship of the Ring'. The pieces are made from a unique crushed stone composite and are beautifully hand painted. White characters include Gandalf the Grey, Galadriel, Aragorn, Gimli, Frodo and Samwise. Black characters include Saruman, Ringwraiths, Lurtz and a variety of evil and rancid Orcs.
Each character's spirit is captured in the astounding level of detail in the figures.
This set includes a lovely wenge and maple deluxe chess board by Rechapados Ferrer; beautifully finished in a rich satin lacquer, deep squares of rich chocolate wenge neighboured with extra light squares of light maple. This chess set is must have for any Lord of The Rings enthusiast.
