This is a fantastic chess set to play on! It combines our stunning, extra large Atlantic Rosewood and Boxwood Chessmen with a wonderful 22 inch walnut and maple chess board. The Spanish-made chessboard comprises of European sourced walnut and maple veneers. The light satin lacquer coating provides a degree of protection to the wood, as well as creating the ideal smooth playing surface.

The chess pieces display exceptional carving skill, with superb detailing and a quality of depth and tone in the solid Indian rosewood used throughout. They are finished to perfection; balanced, weighted and given a protective felt base.

And to complete the set we have included a wonderful solid Indian rosewood chess piece case with a traditional sliding lid design.
