At 23.6 inches in width and with a square size of 2.36 inches, this luxury chess board is impressive. Exclusively commissioned by the Regency Chess Company from the renowned Rechapados Ferrer S.A. of Spain, the board construction employs high grade veneers, combining a stunning, rich palisander rosewood border and deep black anegre squares. To complement the black squares are light maple wood veneers that help create a strikingly contrasting playing surface. The board is finished in a deep gloss lacquer which further enhances the wood grains. Ideal to accommodate chess pieces with king heights of 4 to 4.5 inches.
